Submissiveness is the incidence or trait of yielding to the expressed will of another or some display of force. It can be found in everyday human and animal interaction. Submissiveness in humans can be a benign aspect of the social fabric, or it may be part of other problems that a person experiences. Within human relationships there may be a submissive partner. This partner may be trying to appease the other(s) through agreeing to their command. If they are otherwise healthy this partner may be content. If one or both of the people are experiencing chronic, pervasive emotional distress then the relationship or individuals may require reevaluation. People who are eager and willing to take on a recurring submissive role in a relationship or who fetishize the trait of submissiveness may seek out others that share their interest or form long term pairings based on consenting to heightened levels of submission in a relationship. This may be incidental in certain cultural or social groups, or may be explicitly expressed in others such as the BDSM subculture, or the Taken in hand subculture. A complimentary trait to submissiveness is assertiveness and lively.

November was drawing to a close. The poison was spreading faster and faster. Azrael wanted in on the action bring soon. There was only one way to scratch that itch. He knew where to find it. Alex was walking home from his tutoring lesson one night. He was starting to feel better again. The love deities were really protecting him this time. They were all watching over him. And when they couldn’t really watch him, they gave the lamb a special phone to dial when he was in trouble. He hoped that he would be fine now. But sadly, the next act was pretty much not in his favor.

Alex was walking through the shortcut he usually took him when he heard footsteps behind him. The lamb froze up quickly. A bad feeling came over him in a rush. He looked around nervously. A heavy snicker was in the air. “Don’t turn around!” Alex thought to himself over and over again. But, he did so anyway. Azrael was standing right behind him smirking. The lamb just froze up in fear. He couldn’t speak or breathe. His eyes grew big in terror.

“Azrael!” he gasped out in fear. The incubus smiled at him coldly.

“That’s right!” he replied. “I am here!” Alex froze up in terror. He reached into his pocket to pull off his phone to dial for help. The incubus caught his wrist behind he could even pull it out. Alex looked up nervously. Azrael was breathing on him hard.

“Don’t even think about calling for help!” he hissed. Alex swallowed hard. He nodded with a pale face. The incubus smirked at him again.

“Very good!” he hissed. Then, he let go of the lamb’s wrist. Alex stared at him in terror. Azrael backed up some. A cold smile came across his face.

“Tell you what,” he said. “I’m in generous mood today. So, I’m going to give until the count of ten to run away as fast as you can and I’ll chase you down. Got me?” Alex stared at him like a deer in the headlights. The incubus waited for a reply.

“Well?!?” he snapped. “Got me?!?” Alex nodded at him quickly.

“Good!” the monster replied. “Ten! Nine! Eight!” Alex began backing away. He turned and began running away. Azrael smirked to himself again.

“Hell!” he mumbled. “One!” Then, he flew after his pet. Alex was running away scared. “No, not again!” he thought in misery. “Why can’t they just leave me alone?” The lamb kept running. Then, he noticed a shadow cast over him. The lamb slowly looked up against his better judgment. Azrael was right over his head now. The lamb was really freaked out. It was right on the way. This was another trap coming up. He just knew it. It was always the same. The boy just couldn’t escape it. Azrael flew straight down upon him. Alex ran even faster. The incubus reached out his arm to the poor pet The lamb pushed himself to run even faster. “Just leave me alone!” he thought in misery. “I can’t take this anymore!” But, the monster refused to relent any lust for him. Azrael was now just itches from his pet. He was just about to grab the poor lamb. But, Alex managed to out run him the first time. The incubus was now impressed. “Okay,” he thought. “This is new! I like it!” Azrael sped up even faster with his flight.

Alex looked around quickly for an escape. So far, there was nothing. His heart raced in terror. “Oh god!” he thought. “Why did I have to get lost at this moment!” The lamb looked around nervously. There were only three paths to choose from. Alex could go straight, left, or right. Time was running out fast. The lamb swallowed fast. He had to hurry. Then, he felt shadow upon him again. Alex ran straight forward. He hoped he would get to safety through this path. Azrael was flying after his pet when an idea came into his head. He decided to make the chase even more exciting. A wicked smile came across his face. “Let’s raise the stakes some, shall we?” he thought. Azrael held up his fingers and blew on them hard. Sparks came out of them and hit the ground below. Sparks of flames form instantly and sailed forward.

Alex was still running when he felt the heat on his back. He looked behind him and saw fire coming towards him. The lamb was really freaked out now. He ran away even more. The heat just gained on him mindlessly. Suddenly, it leapt onto his back and began burning on him. Alex screamed out in pain. He pushed himself to keep running to save his life. The flames just kept up with him the whole time. Tears were escaping from his eyes now. Azrael was laughing loudly at his pet’s pain. The flames were still burning at his clothes and flesh. Could this get any worse?

Azrael soon wanted more. He tore at the flesh on his arm. Black blood flowed out like a river. The fluid sank that into the ground like it was being absorbed like a dusty sponge. The incubus smiled at his next work. This was going to be a blast. Alex was running when he felt great pain at his feet. He looked down and saw that the ground with spike with sharp metal. They were piercing right into the bottom of the sneaker. This just made it all better now. “Now I have to run away in pain?!?” he thought to himself. “Can this get any worse?” He ran on in a bleeding pain. Right then, he felt a hot breath upon his nape. The lamb didn’t want to turn and look up. But sadly, he did anyway. Azrael was flying over the top of him. Alex was really freaked out not. What was this? This had to be a really bad nightmare. This just had to be. There was no other explanation for such a Hell.

Azrael reached out to grab him again. He was so close, but the lamb managed to escape again. The incubus instantly became frustrated.

“Stop resisting!” he yelled. “Stop resisting! Stop resisting!” Alex kept on running. Azrael was getting angry, but yet this was all so arousing as well. He wanted this to keep on, but yet he wanted to capture Alex and torment him even more for his own amusement. Both options were so hard to choose from. The lamb finally managed to get away again. He looked around for somewhere safe at the moment. The poor boy just couldn’t take it anymore. He just had to end this and get to safety right away. Alex reached into his pocket for the phone and dialed for help.

“Alex!” Shane said on the other line.

“Please help me!” the boy pleaded. “I’m getting chased by Azrael!!! He’s burning me and made spike stab me in the feet! I’m really scared! Please come get me!!!”

“Okay, okay!” the tech geek replied. “Just tell me where you are!”

“I’m in the park and running towards the…” Alex began to explain. But then, there was a loud thud on the other line, some static, and it all went dead silent. Shane froze in worried concern.

“Hello?” she asked. “Hello? Alex?” She slowly lowered the phone.

“Shit!” Shane muttered under her breath. This was bad. Pretty bad! They had the lamb now. Shane rose to her feet and raced out the door and try to find him before it was too late. But by now, the act V of the dark play was unfolding with each step.
