Control:

Simone’s Notes:

Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), as defined by the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, is a mental condition whereby a single individual evidences two or more distinct identities or personalities, each with its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment. The presumption is that at least two personalities may routinely take control of the individual's behavior. The diagnostic criteria also calls for some associated memory loss that goes beyond normal forgetfulness, often referred to as losing time or acute Dissociative Amnesia. The symptoms of DID must occur independently of substance abuse or a more general medical condition in order to be diagnosed. Dissociative identity disorder was originally named Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD), and, as referenced above, that name remains in the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems.

“OH YES!!!” a woman’s voice screamed out in a hotel room on a Saturday night. “HARDER!!! HARDER!!! OH!!!! OHH!!!” A big man was pulling in and out of her hard. He was enjoying himself to the fullest. The woman on the other hand, was just faking it for the pay. “Anything to keep the customer happy!” she thought to herself. She never understood why she always ended up with fat and sleazy ones. But a job was a job. “I CAN’T HOLD IT ANYMORE!!!” the man yelled out. “AHHH!!!!” He came hard within the condom. The lady of the night moaned aloud happily in fake tone. The man collapsed beside of her panting. The hooker just lied there quietly. “That was great!” he called at last. “Can’t wait to do it again soon!” The prostitute just rolled her eyes and sat up. “I’m going to go take a shower now!” she said flatly. Then, the woman got up and walked over to the hotel bathroom. The man was too busy basking in the afterglow to notice.

The woman stood in the cold shower in silence. This was how she spent her nights for six days a week. It was an adventure really. Walk the streets at night, run into a halfway decent bloke, shag him, collect her pay, and do it all over again until she was free to go home. That was the way to do it! As far as she was concerned, she was happy to live the way she did. It was all easy for her after all. The woman had the looks. Long blonde hair, gorgeous violet eyes, curvy body that looked good in any tight clothes that she wore, and sexy tattoo of a pair of hot pink lips on the back of her right shoulder. Men looked that tattoo to death. They always tried to kiss there for some reason. The woman didn’t care, she was happy to be showered in male attention. God, she loved her job! Once the whore was dressed and collected her pay, she made it outside of the hotel. The woman pulled out her mobile and dialed her pimp. “Hello?” the man said on the other line. “I’m done here!” she called. “Good Emma,” he said. “Just one more at Chiko Palace and you can go!” “Alright!” Emma replied. “I’m on it!” “Good,” the pimp said. “I knew I could depend on you!” “Yes, Gerald,” she said with a smile. “I am always here!” Then, they both hung up. Emma just sighed to her neutrally. “Well,” she thought without any complaints. “Back to work!” Then, she headed to the Chiko Palace hotel.

It was late when Emma made it home again. Her apartment was as dark as night. She took off her long black high-heels at the doorway. “I’m so glad to be home!” the hooker thought. Emma walked over to her message box for any calls while she was out. It all came up empty. Emma then headed to the bathroom. She cut on the sink on high hot water. The hooker stared at the water for a long time. “Tell me who you are!” a voice in her head told her. “I am…Sophie Moore!” the woman answered back. Then, “Emma” picked up a bottle of shampoo and squeezed it into her lovely long blonde hair. She washed out all of the dye. The water was soon a golden blonde color. “Emma’s” hair was now a charming dark brown. The woman then took a cloth and soaked it in the running water. She then got the soap and squeezed it into the cloth. “Emma” washed the tattoo off her right shoulder. She then took off her red corset top, short tight leather black skirt, and black fishnet stockings. The woman changed into a modest white nightie. “Emma” finally took out her famous indigo contacts to reveal that she had pretty brown eyes. The woman cut off the water below her. Silence was in the bathroom now. She looked at herself in the mirror. “Emma” was now Sophie again.

Sophie quietly walked over to her bedroom and stood at the window. The only lights on outside were from the street below. Sophie’s eyes went blank. Her mind disappeared again into nothing.

Emma: Sure you claim you are Sophie, but who are you really?

Sophie: I told you! I am Sophie. But who are you?

Emma: Don’t play dumb! I’ve been here since the beginning!

Sophie: That’s a lie! I’ve been here all along. You just showed up one day!

Emma: Hey, I’m just here to live out your deepest desire where you are too afraid to. So don’t complain. But whoever you believe you are that’s fine with me.

Sophie then walked away from the window and went straight to bed.

Meanwhile, David and Brandon were at Jez’s house. They were investigating his house so late at night. He didn’t answer his phone when they called him for questioning. Hughes quickly became suspicious. So far, everything looked normal. “Price!” Brandon yelled out at. “Come look at this!” The major hurried over to the lt. col.’s side. David was just as shock as his comrade was. They clearly weren’t expecting this! The false priest was hanging from his ceiling. The chair was lying on its side near him. The obvious was going through David and Brandon’s heads. “Hm,” Floyd spoke up. “You think he did that out of remorse?” “The look on his face doesn’t look so remorseful.” David replied. Brandon winced nervously. “In any case,” he said. “We need to take him down and give a statement.” “Right!” David agreed quickly. Then, they all got to work.

Morning came upon Central as normal. But today wasn’t going to be normal. It started with Sophie’s daily therapy session. Before work, she would talk to her physiatrist to deal with her identity problem. So far, the progress was fair and decent. The doc was the only one other than Sophie who could talk to Emma as well. Sophie sat on the couch waiting. The doc began scribbling on her paper. “So tell me,” she began. “Has Emma ever tried to turn on you?” “No, never!” Sophie said quickly. “We have always had a peaceful relationship!” “I see,” the physiatrist said. “Has Emma ever tried to take over at any time in your life? Be honest with yourself!” The woman thought about that for a moment. “No,” she answered. “I don’t really remember at all.” “I see,” the doc replied. “Would you like to comment on anything, Emma?” Silence was in the room at first, but then Emma said, “I don’t care whoever Sophie is, whoever she believes she is, then I’m fine with it. I only want her happy.” “Good,” the doc replied. Then, she and the patients kept on with their session.

Meanwhile at the Central Activity Center, First Lieutenant Jaime White was looking in a catalog of engagement rings. He had been dating Sophie Moore for two years now. He was deeply in love with her. So now, Jaime figured it was about time to pop the question to his true love after so long. The lt. was turning the page when a shadow cast over him. The man slowly looked up to see Don, Jim, and Andrew crowded around him. Jaime quickly felt uncomfortable. “Uh… hi guys!” he said uneasily. “What’cha got there, pal?” Jim asked. “Uh…” the lt. began. “Nothing!” Don looked at the catalog for a long time. “Oh!” he called aloud in excitement. “You’re planning to purpose to Sophie!” Jaime blushed at that conclusion. “*Sweat drop* Uh…. Uh… how did you guess?” he asked aloud. “Aw, how sweet!” Jim called. “You picked one yet?” Jaime’s blush died down slowly. “No,” he said. All three men looked disappointed. “Why not?” Don asked. Jaime sat up straighter. “These rings look so bland,” he answered. “I want to give Sophie a special ring. It’s got to be different than any others like it! She’s not like any other woman! I have to get her the perfect ring!” “Okay…” Andrew said uneasily. “We’ll *try* to help you!” Jaime was relieved. “Thanks guys!” he called. “Anytime!” Don called. Then, he and the other two lieutenants sat down around Jaime to pick out engagement rings.

It was a pain, but in the end Jaime settled for a gorgeous blue diamond engagement ring. “I thank you guys!” he cried out. Andrew, Jim, and Don all looked at him with big sweat drops on their heads. “Have you ever seen such a picky man of a ring?” Andy mumbled to the other two under his breath. “No!” they replied softly. And speaking of which, the doors blew open. All three men looked up to see Sophie herself. Jaime eyed his angel happily as she stood in the beauty that he knew her as. Long dark brown hair, cute brown eyes, small black frame glasses, and dressed in a classy and tasteful black dress suit. (Obviously, he had no idea about Emma!) Sophie was walking gracefully over to the table. Jaime quickly hid the rings catalog and rose up quickly. “Hi Sophie!” he called happily. “What are you doing here?” His girlfriend made to them. “Oh,” she replied. “I just came to see you, of course!” Then, they hugged and kissed each other sweetly. Andy, Jim, and Don looked on innocently. “Uh…” Andy replied. “We’ll leave you two alone now!” Then, the trio went away quickly to give the young couple their space.

By evening, Jaime had invited Sophie over for a special dinner. He had cooked roast lamb with garlic grilled vegetables. Sophie put down her fork and knife gracefully. “That was great, Jaime!” she said happily. Her boyfriend smiled at her sweetly. “You haven’t had desert yet!” he told her. The woman looked at him sweetly. “Oh Jaime,” she called. “I don’t think I can eat another bite!” The lt. gave her his innocent little puppy pout. “Oh come on,” he pleaded. “I went through all of the trouble to buy this little cake just for us! At least try it!” Sophie thought about this for a moment. Then she said, “Okay! I’ll try it!” Jaime smiled at her sweetly. “Great!” he called. “I’ll go get it from the kitchen!” Then, he got up from the table and went to the freezer to get it out. Sophie watched from the table quietly. Her boyfriend returned back with a little cake in the shape of a gift wrapped with sky blue icing and a pearl white ribbon. Sophie was happily amazed. “It’s beautiful!” she exclaimed. “Open it!” Jaime said in a rush. “Okay!” his girlfriend replied. She pulled open the lid. “Oh my!” she gasped out. Inside was a light blue diamond engagement ring. Jaime lightly took her by the hands. “Sophie, will you marry me?” he asked. His girlfriend’s eyes lit up in great joy. “Yes!” she replied. Jaime hugged her tightly. Yes, it was a joyous moment. But soon, darkness would follow Sophie.

That night, Sophie began putting Emma’s things and clothes into storage. She even went as far as to quit her job as a sex worker. Her pimp, Gerald, was shocked. “But Emma,” he protested. “You are the best I have!” “I know,” “Emma” said. “But, I’m getting married soon. I can’t live a double life with my husband, now can I?” “I guess you’re right!” the pimp said. “Well,” the hooker said. “Goodbye Gerald.” “Goodbye Emma,” the pimp said. “And I wish you luck.” “Thank you,” “Emma” said. Then, she went away a free woman. Or so she thought. So far, there were no problems at all. That was until Sophie went home after work… The woman made it home to her apartment when she noticed that something wasn’t right. It felt as if someone had broken into her apartment earlier today. Fear seized Sophie quickly. She rushed down the hall to down. The woman quickly threw open the closet. All of Emma’s things were there. “M-My belongings!” Sophie thought in pale terror. The woman ran to the storage closet and opened it wide. All of her things were packed away in the boxes. “B-But how can this be?!?” Sophie thought in fear. She hurried over to the window and looked out nervously.

Emma: So just because you got your happy ending I would just disappear just like that?!?

Sophie: Yes!

Emma: No! I won’t, you deluded bitch! Without me, you’re nothing! You’re nothing but a fake! I’m the real one here! I should be the one living in your body, not you!

Frightened of what Emma was capable of, Sophie quickly grabbed her things and placed them back in her room. The poor woman then packed the whore’s sleazy things into the boxes and headed out to her car. Sophie drove all the way to the city dump and threw out all of Emma’s clothes, make up, contacts, jewelry, sex toys, and shoes. She panted hard when the work was done. And now, the nightmare was over. But sadly, it was far from over! Emma wasn’t going to leave without a fight.

Things soon went from bad to worse. Emma became verbally abuse to Sophie at work. The poor woman was driven to tears every moment. She just wanted Emma to go away and never come back again. But the hooker wanted the same of her host as well! When her co-workers asked her what was wrong, Sophie was too afraid to tell them. “They’ll think I’m nuts if I tell them!” She spent the rest of the day hiding in the bathroom. When she home at long last, the poor woman was in for a rude awakening. Sophie once again sensed someone had broken into her apartment again. The woman ran to her bedroom again and looked into the closet. All of Emma’s things were in place of her belongings. Sophie wanted to scream out in misery. That only meant one thing. She hurried to her car and drove down to the dump. And low and behold, Sophie found all of her things in boxes in the trash! The woman broke down into tears and rushed to retrieve her clothes, books, jewelry, pictures, and all of the presents Jaime had given her including her golden pumpkin heart necklace he had given her for Christmas in the heavy pouring rain. “NO! NO! NO! NO!” she kept screaming the whole time. “Why won’t she let me be?!? She’s not real! Emma never existed!” “I’m warning you, you tarty Barbie!” a voice snapped at her. The woman froze and looked up. Emma was looking down at her harshly. It was actually her in the flesh. Long blonde hair, indigo contacts, and dressed like the harlot she was. “No!” Sophie whispered. “No! You can’t be real! You’re not real! You never existed! You’re not real!” “Of course I am!” Emma hissed. “Give up on trying to be real and living your happy ending! YOU WON’T GET RID OF ME!!!”

Sophie couldn’t take it anymore. She leapt forward and tackled Emma head first. “You bitch!!!” the hooker yelled out. Then, she bit Sophie on the arm. The woman cried out in pain and dug her nails into Emma’s thigh. Emma fought back by punching Sophie in the face. The woman fought back by kicking her. Soon, the cat fight grew worse and looked like a fight to the death! The voices in the woman’s head were getting louder and angrier by the second. In this fight, Sophie woke up to a grim nightmare. She had been trapped in this glamorous prison that Emma had built around her blindly. If she hoped for a healthy and loving marriage with Jaime, she would have to escape from her alter ego or be content to live in this hellish glitter prison forever! “Please set me free, anybody!!!” Sophie cried out in misery. At that moment, Yasmine was driving to visit Steven in the pouring rain. The weather was so bad that she couldn’t see anything too clearly. The woman kept driving until she saw Sophie staggering around in the street with a face painted like a Goth and dressed in a torn schoolgirl’s uniform. The hunter tried to put on the brakes in time, but she still hit Sophie. The poor woman started to see black as she hit the road coldly. Then, all went silent in her head!

Moments later, Havoc, Jaime, and Don were all in the hospital to see how Sophie was during. Jaime was worried sick almost to death. The man looked paler than a ghost on Halloween! Havoc and Don had to hold down the guy in order to keep him calm. Soon, the door opened. The men looked up to see Yasmine and Steven. The hunter had called the hospital right after she hit Sophie. Yas also told Jaime the whole story of the accident. Jaime’s sorrow and fear quickly changed into anger. “YOU!” he snapped at Yasmine. “You almost killed my fiancée! I’ll have you court for this!!! You’re a murderer!!!” He would’ve lunged at her if Havoc hadn’t grabbed him in time. “Calm down!” he said strongly. “It was it accident!” That didn’t help at all. Jaime was still struggling to hurt the hunter. Then, the door pressed up. They all turned to see Jacilyn looking at them. Jaime hurried over to the nurse. “Tell me if she’s okay!” he pleaded. “Please tell me if Sophie’s alive!” Jaks rolled her eyes annoyed. “I hate his type!” she thought. “Yes!” Jaks said at last. “She’ll be alright. And yes, you can she her now!” Jaime looked up at her happily. “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!” he said over and over again as he hugged her tightly. Jacilyn rolled her eyes annoyed. “Uh,” she mumbled. “Please get off!” Havoc looked at him as if to say, “Hey buddy! Hands off my woman!”

They all went in to see Sophie. She was asleep at the moment. The woman looked good for someone that had been hit by a car. They all looked around her patiently. Then, Sophie slowly woke up. Yasmine leaned in a little close. “Sophie?” she asked. Sophie’s eyes welled with happy tears when she saw Yas. She quickly kissed the hunter’s hands. “Thank you! Thank you!” the woman said quickly. “You saved me! She would’ve killed me if you hadn’t hit me in time!” Everyone looked at her confused. “Sweetheart,” Jaime said calmly. “I’m going to try and get you the best doctor here. Just rest for now.” But his fiancée didn’t listen. She kept on telling everyone about her battle with Emma and Yasmine rescuing her.

Meanwhile on the highway where Sophie was hit, Emma was lying on the highway dead with her blood being washed away by the pouring rain. Sophie’s darker side was now dead.
