After the
Banquet:
Simone’s Notes:
Sexual addictions, also known as sex addictions, is a conceptual model that
describes compulsive participation or engagement in sexual activities, despite
negative consequences. It is considered by its proponents to be the same thing
as hypersexual disorder. In clinical diagnostics, the term sexual dependence may
also refer to a conceptual model that is used to assess people who report being
unable to control their sexual urges, behaviors, or thoughts. Related models of
pathological sexual behavior include hypersexuality, erotomania, nymphomania,
satyriasis, Don Juanism, or Don Juanitaism, and paraphilia-related disorders.
Clinicians, such as psychiatrists, sociologists, sexologists, and other
specialists, have differing opinions on the classification and clinical
diagnosis of sexual addiction. As a result, "sexual addiction" does not exist as
a clinical entity in either the DSM or ICD medical classifications of diseases
and medical disorders.
Edward sat up in
the dim room.
Mya was still
sound asleep.
He shook his
head at the debauchery left over.
Edward took a
deep breath and rose to his feet.
After getting
dressed,
He quietly
walked out the doors.
The sun nearly
blinded him.
Edward held his
hand over his eyes.
When was the
last time he saw the sun?
Before he knew
it,
Edward began
walking down the empty streets.
He had no
destination in mind.
His eyes stayed
on the ground.
He felt himself
getting lost in his head.
His monsters
were still in his soul.
Something told
him that they would be staying longer.
Edward shook his
head.
That crap again.
It reminded him
of what he needed to do.
Right now,
He just wanted
to…
Actually, he
didn’t know what he wanted.
Edward sighed
and stopped walking.
This was so
stupid.
Maybe a hit from
Manami could straighten him out.
Funny thing,
He didn’t really
feel like going back either.
Edward shrugged
and looked up at the sky.
Heh, might as
well.
The incubus
alchemist walked further
Down the road.
He still didn’t
know where he going.
But it was
better than getting lost in his head.
At least, then
he had an easier time to
Ignore the “guests” in his soul.
