Seducing an Angel:

Simone’s Notes:

Seduction is a popular motif in history and fiction, both as a warning of the social consequences of engaging in the behaviour or becoming its victim, and as a salute to a powerful skill. In the Bible, Eve offers the forbidden fruit to Adam. Eve is not explicitly depicted as a seductress but some extra-Biblical commentary and art promote this viewpoint. Eve herself was verbally seduced by the serpent, believed in Christianity to be Satan; later, Chapter 7 of Proverbs warns of the pitfalls of seduction. Sirens of Greek mythology lured sailors to their death by singing them to shipwreck; Cleopatra beguiled both Julius Caesar and Marc Antony, Dionysus was the Greek god of seduction and wine, and Persian queen Scheherazade saved herself from execution by story-telling. Famous male seducers, their names synonymous with sexual allure, range from Genji to James Bond. In biblical times, because unmarried females who lost their virginity had also lost much of their value as marriage prospects, the Old Testament Book of Exodus specifies that the seducer must marry his victim or pay her father to compensate him for his loss of the marriage price: "And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife. If her father utterly refuses to give her unto him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins."

Asher’s playhouse is almost complete.

He needed a queen doll.

Time to go out tonight.

It didn’t take long for him to find her.

She had to be perfect.

Her name was Chyann.

She was a virgin, but she was well-educated about sex

Chyann wasn’t looking for anyone initially.

She was just looking to get into grad school.

Asher smirked as he watched her for four weeks.

Yes, she would be perfect.

They met on her way back from a night class

Chyann was alone tonight

Her friend was going to a campus party

Chyann wasn’t much of partying time,

Not her thing.

Asher pretended to be lost on campus.

“Excuse me, I’m trying to meet up with a friend at a local, but I didn’t get the address right. Could you help me out?”

Chyann tilted her head.

“I don’t where that is exactly, but I can get you close enough.”

“Thank you miss.”

He played his rouse long enough to get her away from the campus

“Do you have a boyfriend?”

“No.”

“Really? Why not?”

“Don’t have the time.”

“That’s really sad. Do you want one?”

Chyann stopped in her tracks.

“I… I don’t know.”

He took her face into his hand.

“I want you.”

“But why? We just met.”

“I am an impulse person.”

She tried to push him off.

“Let me go.”

Asher shook his head.

“No, you let go first.”

He kissed her on the lips before she could speak.

One kiss.

One kiss was all it took.

Still, Chyann tried to fight the urge

But found herself in a confusing place

Asher smiled at his work

He took hold of her hand and led her away to his playhouse.
