Push the Button:

Simone’s Notes:

What is the best season for romance? Spring is the season for mating and finding a lover. The animal kingdom tries different methods to attract a mate. Summer is the time when things become really hot and sensual. There tends to be less clothes and lustful looks. Autumn is the season of change. One of those changes can bring new love into one’s life. Winter is a time to be warm. The lovers cuddle close and kiss under mistletoe. So, what is the best season for romance? Any time seems to be the answer.

Like it was said in the last chapter, everyone was preparing for Christmas. Everyone was busy decorating their apartment for the wintry season. The women were already plotting their sexy gifts for their boyfriends and husbands. Romance and cheer were all around. Well, almost. Jakob sat on the couch in his apartment feeling isolated. The Christmas tree in the living room was staring at him like a security guard to a suspicious-looking kid in a mall. He hadn’t told his girlfriend about his other little secret. He wasn’t sure if he should tell Riza or not yet. He didn’t know how she would react to it. Hawkeye was decorating the living room with tinsel when she noticed her boyfriend’s face. “Jakob?” she asked. “What’s wrong?” The mouse looked up at her uneasily. “It’s Christmas,” he replied. Riza wasn’t following at first. “What do you mean?” she asked. Her boyfriend turned to her. “I’m Jewish,” he informed her. “Jews don’t celebrate Christmas.” The lt. set down the box of decorations on the coffee table and sat down beside of him. “Why not?” she asked out of curiosity. Jakob took in a deep breath. “Religion,” he answered. Riza looked at him to learn more. “So,” she spoke up. “What do you celebrate?” Jakob steadied himself. “Hanukah.” he replied. “What is that?” she asked. Her boyfriend began to go into detail about the eight-night celebration on Jewish history and heritage.

His girlfriend found the new information was intriguing. “Well,” Riza said at last. “Do you want to celebrate Christmas or Hanukah?” Jak thought about that for a moment. The boy quickly found that answer so well. He smiled and replied, “Why not both?” Hawkeye was a little lost at first. “Sorry?” she asked. The mouse kept smiling. “Don’t worry,” he replied. “I’ll walk you all through it.” The boy smiles even more. “Oh and don’t worry,” he spoke up. “I’m not a personal mission to convert you! I love you just the way you are!” Riza smiled at him sweetly. “All right,” she replied. “We’ll celebrate your Hanukah with Christmas.” Jakob kept smiling at her. “Thanks Riza-chan,” he said. The lt. just turned to him and lightly kissed him on the lips. The mouse kissed back tenderly. They ended up making out right on the couch.

Mike was cleaning up his apartment for another lonely Christmas when there was a knock on the door. He froze and looked up. “Hm?” the major thought. “Who could that be?” Then, he set the box of Christmas things on the floor, walked over to the front door, and peeked out. Allison Daily stood on the other side. Happy but confused, Mike opened the door. The teacher was dressed nicely in a long black dress skirt and long-sleeved silk blouse. Her boots were black and high-heeled. The woman had on a black shawl held tightly around her small graceful shoulders. Her short blonde hair was pinned back in a sweet bun. Ms. Daily looked just like a Christmas angel. But yet, she looked so sad. “Allison?” he asked. “What you doing here? Am I dreaming?” The major kept pinching and hitting himself to see if he was dreaming. The woman was still standing in front of him. “Yes,” Allison said. “I am here.” Mike felt his heart aching on the inside. “Allison,” he said softly. “What’s the matter? Did that creep try to hurt her?” The teacher looked around quickly. “I can’t say it out here!” she said quickly. The major quickly looked around. “Okay,” he said softly. “Come in.” “Thanks, major!” the teacher said softly with a nod. Then, she stepped into the apartment. Thomas closed the door behind them.

Allison sat at the kitchen table while Mike made her tea. The teacher was trembling badly. She looked so snow white. The poor woman looked as she had seen a ghost. The poor woman looked as if she had been crying for days and nights all alone. “Okay Allison,” he said. “What’s the matter?” The teacher took in a deep breath. “Peter called my house this morning,” she began. “I followed your advice on changing the locks and my phone number.” “And?” the major asked. “Peter’s been very angry,” she said. “He some how got my number and has been calling me and threatening me ever since!” Tears became to form in her eyes. “I’m so scared!” she called. “He might break into my house and rape me! I don’t know what to do! I’m so scared of him!” Allison broke down into tears Mike couldn’t help but feel sorry for her. A monster was stalking this poor princess. He wished he could go and beat up that jerk for terrorizing this poor angel. Surely, there must be something that he could do for her. There must be something….

Then, an idea came into his head. “Allison,” Mike spoke up. The teacher slowly looked up to see his back at the stove. “Yes major?” she asked in a soft whimper. Thomas turned her smiling with two cups of tea in his hands. “Come and move in with me!” he said quickly. Ms. Daily looked up at him in shock. “What?!?” she asked in surprise. Mike sat down in front of her and handed her a cup. “Not in a sexual way,” he explained. “I promise not to do anything perverted to you while you stayed with me. I’ll even let you sleep in my bed while I sleep on the couch. If you lived with me, you’ll be safe.” Allison looked uncertain. Mike forced himself to go on. “Look,” he said. “I like you. I’ve liked you since I first met you. I wanted to tell you, but no time ever seemed right. But if we lived together, you’ll be safe from the leech and I won’t be so lonely this Christmas. So what do you say?” Allison stared hard at him in shock. She didn’t know what to say at first. The teacher at never heard such an offer made to her before. So what could she say? “But, what about your therapy?” Allison asked. Mike smiled at her in a charming boyish way. He lightly took her by the hands. “I’m still on that,” he answered in confidence. “I’m actually doing pretty well nowadays.” The major began to blush lightly. “In fact,” he confessed in a soft but strong voice. “You have been the inspiration to keep me going! That is why I need you with me. You can continue to be my muse to keep me making myself better. I really do need you.” The teacher blushed at him. “Really?” she asked in surprise. Mike nodded quickly. Allison froze up in surprise again. She was deeply moved. She had never heard a man confess to her that he inspired her to try and get better with their lives. Right then, the teacher had her answer.

“Okay,” Allison replied. “I’ll move in with you, major.” Mike smiled at her sweetly. “Thank you, Allison!” he said. “And call me Mike!” The teacher managed a sweet smile. “All right, Mike.” she said. They planned to move in by night time. They wanted to avoid Peter at all costs. The last they needed was that obsessive creep stalking and attempting to rape the woman while she was off guard. They managed to get some late night movers to help them with the task. The house was bone empty by midnight. The major filled out the necessary paperwork for Allison to move in. By morning, Ms. Allison Daily lived with Major Mike Thomas. Allison was happy to have security for once in her life from Peter and her ex. Mike was happy to have a woman living in his house during Christmas. Yep! This arrangement was going to work out perfectly.
