Pink Lemonade:

Simone’s Notes:

Dating is any social activity performed as a pair or even a group with the aim of each assessing the other's suitability as their partner in an intimate relationship or as a spouse. The word refers to the act of agreeing on a time and "date" when a pair can meet and engage in some social activity. In many cultural traditions, dates are arranged by a third party, who may be a family member, an acquaintance, or a dedicated matchmaker. Recently matchmaking services have become popular. Although dating rules in Western popular culture have become more relaxed during the 20th century, there is considerable variation between individuals' values. For example, when the activity costs money, it has traditionally been the man's role to pay; in recent times the practice of "going Dutch" has emerged. Traditional dating activities include sharing entertainment or a meal. In general, a person may date many different partners during the same time period in order to have the best chance of finding their most suitable available mate.

Al waited outside of Carrie’s door. She had finally got up the courage and asked him out on a date. He agreed to go with her. The boy needed a break from Amy and Bev. Molly was too busy with her map for a date at all. So, Carrie was the only one available at the moment. Al was happy to go on a date with her. He even got dressed in his best suit. He even brought her a bouquet of yellow roses. Now, the only thing missing was the arm candy. The alchemist knocked on the door.

“Coming!” his date called from the other side. Alphonse waited with a smile on his face. He was really excited tonight. It would be nice to go on a nice normal date. It would be nice to have a break from the wild and hardcore sex he had been having for months. The door opened wide. Al got a full look at her. Carrie was a stunner tonight. She was done up like a Barbie doll. Carrie was dressed in black tank top with a short pink skirt. Her shoes matched her skirt. Her purse was a pinkish-white. The girl’s make-up was done perfectly. She even had cute little pink bows in her hair. Alphonse couldn’t help but to smile.

“Hello there,” he greeted her. “You look great!” Carrie just lightly blushed.

“Really?” she asked. Alphonse nodded. His date was really happy now.

“Oh Alphonse, thank you!” she breathed out. Al walked forward and lightly kissed her on the cheek. Carrie was really blushing now. “Oh wow!” she thought in excitement. “I wasn’t expecting that!” Al backed up and smiled at her.

“Shall we go?” he asked. Carrie looked at him slightly confused.

“Go where?” she asked. Al lightly shrugged at her.

“Dunno,” he said. “Anywhere you like!” Carrie looked at him surprised.

“I get to choose?” she asked happily.

“That’s right,” Al said. His date was really overjoyed now.

“Oh wow!” she exclaimed. “Give me a minute!” Alphonse nodded. Carrie thought about a game began. At first, nothing was coming to mind. There were so many places to go on a date. Then, an idea came to her. Her face lit up brightly.

“I’ve got it!” she said. Alphonse looked at her in joy.

“Okay,” he said. “Where are we going?” His date smiled at him brightly.

“You’ll see!” she replied. Then, she took him by the hand and led him out of the hall. They were out in the city within minutes. Carrie kept leading the way happily. Her boyfriend waited in excitement.

“So where are we going?” he asked her. Carrie smiled to him kindly.

“You’ll see,” she replied. “You’ll see.”

“Okay,” Al said to her. Carrie led him further down the street. They came to a karaoke bar. Carrie’s smile was brighter than a Christmas tree. She let go of his hand and whirled around in front of him.

“Ta-da!” she called. “Here we are!” Alphonse looked on quietly. He wasn’t expecting this, but anything to make Carrie happy. His girl kept her smile.

“Well,” she said. “What do you think?” Al nodded at her.

“Yeah,” he said. Carrie looked very happy again.

“Great!” she called. “Let’s go in!” Then, she took him by the hand and led him inside. Al braced himself for fun on this date. Inside was like a girly paradise. Pink and teddy bears were all around. There were other teenage girls all around. Al felt awkward with being the only boy here. But, he would brave through it. This was Carrie’s night to pick where they went. His girl was away in happiness.

“Oh wow!” she said. “I love this place here!” Al just smiled to himself. “Anything to keep her happy!” Carrie hurried up to the empty pink stage and walked up to the pink and white karaoke machine. She reached into her purse and pulled out her wallet. She pulled out some money and put it into the machine. The cute monster lit up instantly.

“Welcome!” she said. “What song would you like to sing today?” Carrie looked overjoyed.

“Oh wow!” she called. Then, she began looking for a song. Within a few seconds, she found the perfect one. “Ah!” Carrie chirped. “I want this one!” Then, she punched in number thirty-three. Then, the music started up. The little rich girl stood up quickly. She was frozen in shock. All eyes were on her. Alphonse was in the front of the room watching. Carrie tried to keep her cool as the music was pumping. “Oh wow!’ she thought. “People are watching me!” Nerves and excitement crashed together. She swallowed hard. There was only one thing to do now. “Well,” the girl thought. “Here goes!” Then, Carrie began singing along to “Cath” by Death Cab for Cutie. It was a little shaky at first. But in time, the little rich girl got into the music. Alphonse was very impressed. He didn’t know that Carrie could sing at all. And she sounded… pretty good! Al was pretty proud to hear his angel sing. When she was finished, the audience clapped. Carrie lightly blushed as she bowed.

“Oh wow!” she said. “They really like me!” Then, she walked off stage and joined Alphonse in the crowd. He looked at her smiling. His date was now overjoyed. The couple stayed around for eight more songs. Al had to try and drag his girl out of the building. Carrie was high on the rush.

“Tonight is just great!” she called. Alphonse nodded at her smiling. His girl turned to him.

“You know what I want now?” she asked.

“No,” he said. “What do you want now?” His date turned to him smiling.

“Ice cream!” Carrie cheered. Alphonse smiled at her kindly.

“Okay,” he said. “Ice cream it is, then!”

“Yay!” Carrie cheered. “Let’s go!” Then, she grabbed her date by the arm and dragged him down the street. Alphonse just smiled to himself patiently. “Anything to keep Carrie happy,” he thought. “Anything to keep her happy.” That was how the rest of the night was. The date was nicely pleasant. Carrie was easy to please. She was very perky the whole time. Alphonse was amused by her enthusiasm. She was a nice break from Amy, Bev, and Molly. But then, a sickening thought crossed into his mind. He suddenly wanted to… sleep with her! He shook his head hard of this perverse attraction. “No!” he thought. “I won’t act on my desires. At least, not until she’s ready!” For the rest of the date, Al kept fighting his desires long and hard. It was a struggle but he had to keep Carrie pure as long as possible for him.

In the end, Alphonse walked Carrie to her door. She turned to her boyfriend smiling.

“Alphonse,” the little rich girl spoke up to him.

“Hm?” her boyfriend asked. His bunny stepped up to him gently. She nuzzled her nose lightly up against his. Alphonse went stiff in a heartbeat. He really wanted to do her right here and now in the hallway.

“I want you to be my first,” she told him softly. Al was now in happy land. He didn’t know what say at all at first. He had been waiting so long for her to say that to him.

“R-Really?” he asked her. Carrie nodded at him sweetly.

“Of course,” she said. “It doesn’t have to be tonight. Just…”

“Whenever?” Al finished.

“Yeah,” Carrie said softly.

“Okay,” her boyfriend agreed. Carrie smiled at him sweetly and kissed him on the lips. He kissed her back. They slowly broke off the kiss. His little rich bunny looked at him smiling.

“Good night,” she told him.

“Night.” Al said back. Then, Carrie turned to her door, unlocked it, and went inside. Alphonse watched her do so. Once he was sure that she was safely inside, he went back to his own apartment. Tonight was the best night ever!
