Love Circle Overlap:

Simone’s Notes:

Human connections, we all need them. They all come in different forms—family, friends, enemies, and love. It doesn’t matter how low the distance or through what method, there are always a way for humans to connect with each other. How long these connections last is not really relevant. It only takes one time and the connection builds from there. The outcome will always vary.

-Molly-

They all love this chart. It now takes over my whole wall. Every day, I happen to learn about a new hook-up and write it down on the wall. They tried to take me down twice, but it’s too popular to kill.

I smiled in my chair.

Maybe I should take it to the next level. The idea came to me this morning while I was taking a bath. What if the map went viral? I pondered this all afternoon and decided to go for it. I got straight to work on my laptop. By sundown, I was ready to go. I sat back in my chair, celebrating.

“Yes!” I shouted out loud. However, there is still another little problem. There is another girl who is after Al’s heart. I think her name is Mei and she’s an Asian cutie. The other girls don’t like her, but I’m curious about her. Another girl could be fun.

-Simone-

I have done so much over the past two years. My notes are all over the please. I don’t think I will get the time to organize them the way I want. I sat back in my chair, thinking. Now, how do I go about doing this, then? My eyes trailed up to the ceiling as I bit my lower lip. I keep thinking, but nothing is coming. Maybe I could get some help. I reached up for my mobile and dialed my mentor. I counted down the rings before she answered.

“Hello?” she said on the other line. I sat up straight in my chair.

“Ah, Dr. Howard,” I spoke up. “I’m so glad I caught you.”

“What can do for you?” she asked. I pressed my lips together for a second.

“Well,” I began. “I’m looking over my notes and I don’t know how to exactly organize everything. I mean, I have the right idea, but I don’t know how to execute it.”

“How much you do have planned so far?”

“The introduction and not much else.”

“Oh. How many more months do you have left with me?”

I counted down on my fingers. “About six months left, I think.”

“Ooo, with your condition that doesn’t give you much time, does it?”

I frowned when she reminded me of my OCD. “Don’t rub it in.”

“Okay, okay,” Dr. Howard said. “I just pick out the important points and go from there.”

“But every time I do that, I end up collecting more points.”

“And that’s okay. This is bound to happen in research. I’ll be happy to help you along the way.”

I sat back, sighing. “Alright. I’ll try that.”

She chuckled on the other line. “Anything else?”

“No.”

“Call me when you need anything else, okay?”

“Okay.”

“Bye.”

“Buh-bye.” After I hung up, I suddenly felt the need to work again.

-Peyton and Demetria-

Demetria glanced over at her friend. “So, when was the first time you had sex?”

Peyton looked up at her in discomfort. Her friend frowned and shook her head at her desk. “Not that time, the real time.”

Peyton began to relax. “I was about fifteen and this boy was sixteen.”

Demetria leaned in closed. “Go on.”

“My parents were away that weekend. I invited him over, one thing led to another and it just happened.”

“Any foreplay?”

Peyton’s cheeks turned redder. “Of course!” Her friend laughed as she turned her head away.

“Shut up,” she hissed. Demetria only laughed louder.

“I just love the look on your face,” she said.

“And what about you?” Peyton asked. Her friend smiled as she leaned on the table.

“I was fourteen,” she answered.

“Fourteen?!” the blonde asked.

“He was desperate and I was bored. What else could we do? He wasn’t very good at it.”

“Oh,” Peyton replied. Demetria shrugged.

“Sucks that we haven’t been getting laid lately.”

“Not really.”

The rebellious soldier tilted her head at her. “Why is that?” Peyton shrugged and shook her head. Demetria lowered her pen.

“You want to grab breakfast after this?” she asked.

“Sure,” her friend answered. Buffalo Springfield’s “For What it’s Worth” kept them busy enough to push through.
