Interpersonal attraction is the attraction between people which leads to friendships and romantic relationships. In a colloquial sense, interpersonal attraction is related to how much one likes, loves, dislikes, or hates someone. Interpersonal attraction can be thought of as a force acting between two people tending to draw them together, and resisting their separation. According to a personality psychologists' view, interpersonal attraction is a person's qualities that tend to attract by appealing to another person's desires. When measuring interpersonal attraction, one must refer to the qualities of the attracted as well as the qualities of the attractor to achieve predictive accuracy. The study of interpersonal attraction is a major area of study in social psychology. They suggest that to determine attraction, personality and situation must be taken into account. Repulsion is also a factor in the process of interpersonal attraction, one's conception of "attraction" to another can vary from extreme attraction to extreme repulsion.

Isaac waited outside of Callie’s door. He was dressed pretty nicely this evening. The man was taking the corporal out on a date tonight. He insisted that he take her out tonight. She wasn’t too sure about that at first, but Jakob’s older brother persuaded her in the end.

“Give me a minute!” Callie yelled from inside the apartment. Isaac waited with the gardenias in his hand. He couldn’t wait to see his date again. The door finally opened. Ramirez stood before him shyly. Isaac couldn’t help but to stare at her. His date was dressed in a navy blue dress that covered her thighs. Her pantyhose were pure silk. The shoes matched the style of her dress. Callie had gold earrings and a pearl necklace to complete her look. Isaac kept on staring.

“Wow!” he called at last. “You look amazing!” Callie blushed at that compliment.

“T-Thanks!” she called out. “I tried to take the notice off of my…” Isaac lightly put his finger to her plump caramel sugar lips.

“Shhh!” he said softly to her. “We are on a date tonight. We will go on this date in full confidence and no mentioning anything that’ll put yourself down. Okay?” The corporal froze for a moment. Then, she silently nodded. Isaac smiled at her kindly.

“Great!” he whispered to her. Then, he lightly took his finger from her lips. “Now, let’s go, shall we?” Callie really began to smile.

“Yes!” she called out. Jakob’s older brother smiled at her.

“Good,” he replied. “See? You’re enjoying things already! Come my lady, our carriage awaits!” Callie giggled aloud. “So cute!” she thought. Then, they headed out on their date.

“So where are we going anyway?” Callie asked Isaac in the car. They were driving along the street in the night. Isaac looked at her smiling.

“You’ll see!” he called. “Just trust me on this! It’ll be the best that you’ve ever had!” He lightly caressed her cheek. Callie couldn’t help but to smile at him. She noticed that Isaac had his way of charming the ladies to like him in anyway. “Manipulative bastard!” she thought happily. “How does he do that with a woman?” The corporal just couldn’t help but smile at him. This was going to be an interesting night.

The couple came to a new Spanish restaurant. Callie looked on in awe. This was the first time she had been out to eat in months. Isaac watched her smiling.

“You like?” he asked. “I discovered this morning while driving to the apartments to check on my little bro for my mother!” Callie turned to him smiling.

“Oh yes!” she called out.

“Well then,” Jakob’s older brother called. “Let’s go!” Then, he climbed out the car and made his way over to her side of the car. He unlocked and opened the door for her. Callie was amused. “Such a gentleman!” she thought. Then, he held out his hand to her.

“Come my lady!” Isaac called out. Callie smiled at him like a little schoolgirl. Then, she took his hand and stepped out with him. The man walked her inside gracefully.

Inside was like Spain itself. Black and gold was everywhere. Lace and fans were all over the wall. The flamenco guitar was playing in the background. Spanish pride was all around. Beautiful women were handing out drinks like candy at a party. The food even smelled wonderful. Callie looked around like a kid in a toy store. Isaac just enjoyed her reaction.

“And this is just entering!” he called. “You should try the food!” His date nodded happily. A waitress approached them. She had the body of a Spanish dancer. The woman hair was black and curly. Her puppy dog eyes were a light brown. Her red and black dress added to her charm.

“Dos, right?” she asked.

“That’s right!” Isaac said.

“Indoors or out?” the waitress asked.

“Outside!” the man called.

“Smoking or non?” she asked.

“Non, please!” Callie replied. The waitress scrabbled down the information.

“Okay!” she called. “Right this way!” They, the trio headed outside.

The starry night outside added to the romantic effect outside. Spain had followed them outside. The couple came to a table near the balcony. The waitress poured them red wine in the glasses and left them alone. Isaac pulled out Callie’s chair and let her sit down. He shoved her in gracefully. The corporal really felt like a princess tonight. Isaac sat down in front of her. Ramirez was enjoying her night so far, but she couldn’t help but wonder something.

“Isaac!” she spoke up. He looked up from his wine glass at her.

“Yes?” the man asked. Callie hesitated at first. She didn’t know how to ask this question. But she just had to try to get it off of her mind.

“Why are you exactly interested in me for?” the date asked at last. “I mean this is nice and all. But why me? You could have any girl you wanted but you chose me. Why is that?” Isaac smiled at her kindly.

“Because,” he asked. “I want to get to know you.” Callie was still confused by that.

“What do you mean?” she asked. Isaac lightly took her by the hand.

“You are a woman of full potential,” he said to her. “I’m judging that you are a smart, strong, confident woman. I figured I’d give that kind of woman a chance. I dated girls that were too wound up on their looks and sex. I need a break from that. Then, I saw you and I figured I’d give you a chance.” Callie was moved, but she decided to ask one more question.

“Is that all?” she asked bravely. Isaac flashed her a boyish smile.

“That and your breasts. But don’t worry, they are just a minor detail to me!” he called. Callie laughed aloud at his answer.

“You’re cute,” she answered. “A bit of tongue and cheek, but cute.” Her date smiled back at her again.

“I aim to please.” He replied. “I aim to please.” Then, another waitress came by and took their orders. He ordered tortilla de patatas and she ordered shrimp in garlic. Both ordered more wine. Isaac turned back to his date when the waitress left.

“So what do you say?” he asked. “Want to give this bond between us a go?” Callie thought about that for a moment. Then she replied,

“You know what, I think I will!” Isaac smiled at her.

“I won’t let you down!” he called boldly. Then, they shook on the agreement.

The date went pretty well. Isaac and Callie found that they had a good amount of chemistry to start a healthy relationship. Jakob’s older brother never tried anything perverse like the other men did when Callie went out on her dates. He was a gentleman the entire night. He wouldn’t even let her pay the bill.

“A man should pay the bill on the first date,” Isaac informed her. “Shows that he has courtesy for the lady.” Callie blushed at that response. “A true gentleman indeed!” she thought. “His mother must have brought him up well! I’m impressed! Maybe this relationship could work after all.”

Isaac even walked Callie to her door afterwards. They kissed each other many times at the door.

“You can come in if you like!” the corporal told him in between kisses.

“Nah,” Isaac replied. “Sex will come later. I want to get to know you first, my dear.” Callie stopped kissing and looked up at him smiling.

“Okay,” she said. “I can wait.” Isaac kissed her one last time on the lips. He held her closely in his arms.

“Good night then,” he whispered.

“Night,” his new girlfriend replied. Then, they went their separate ways for the night. Isaac was happy to say that this was the best date that he had ever been on. He could see the start of a beautiful relationship between them.
