Krishna:

Simone’s Notes:

Krishna is a deity worshipped across many traditions of Hinduism. He is usually depicted as a young cowherd boy playing a flute or a youthful prince giving philosophical direction. Most commonly within Hinduism, Krishna is worshipped as an avatar of Vishnu, who is considered the Supreme God by the Vaishnava schools. Within Gaudiya Vaishnavism Krishna is worshipped as the source of all other avatars. Krishna and the stories associated with him appear across a broad spectrum of Hindu philosophical and theological traditions. Though they sometimes differ in details reflecting the concerns of a particular tradition, some core features are shared by all. These include a divine incarnation, a pastoral childhood and youth, and life as a heroic warrior and teacher.

Syd sat on the floor of his apartment admiring his long dagger. He and the girls had been slacking off lately. The incubi and succubi were spreading their virus around faster than he went threw bottles of Ume sake on a nightly basis. The auras of the humans in the city were filled with lust and desire. It was only a matter of time before everyone succumbs to their darkest desire. From there, more incubi and succubi would rise and open the gates of darkness. And that wasn’t the worst part. It wouldn’t be long before the incubi mated with human women and impregnated them. The women would go on to bear half-breed children that would further the destruction of human morality. Syd shook his head hard. Something had to be done. He and his girls needed to shape up or all of Amertis would be trapped in its own burning dirty desires.

However, Syd’s thoughts were interrupted were the door was opened wide. He looked up and saw Ella in the doorway. She was soaking wet all over from the heavy rain pouring down outside. He didn’t want to admit it tonight, but Ella looked hot to him when she was all soaking wet. Right then, he noticed that the virus was starting to take over his mind as well. Syd looked away slightly.

“Oh, it’s you!” he said as if he was unimpressed with her. Ella stepped in and closed the door.

“The Red Jasmine virus is spreading pretty quickly,” his bird called as if she was trying to make conversation with him. “It won’t be long before it feeds off of us as well.”

“I know that!” he mumbled under his breath. Silence was heavy between them. Ella stepped into the living room even closer. She could never talk to this bloke. He either didn’t talk at all or gave her some ugly comment as a reply. The deity could never figure out why she loved this knucklehead so much. But she did and she knew the one and only way to get him to react.

Ella lightly walked over to Syd and turned his face to her gently. The bloke was looking at her confused. Her eyes were filled with a light and playful lust. He could tell that the virus was starting to take over her. Part of him wanted to yell out to her to resist, but yet he wanted her to go through with it. After all, he was a little bored of fighting and working to save this dull country from its decreasing morale. It was always what Mother Superior and the other officials wanted. A little break would be nice for a change.

His bird lightly kissed him on the lips. That did it for Sydney! He kissed back passionately. He began to remember the first time he met his Ella. It was back were the council ruled everything. Syd was more carefree and wild then. He was notorious for wreaking havoc among authority. The deity loved to fight, drink, party, sample drugs, and sleep around with many loose women and virgins. Syd had many friends and enemies in those days. The man feared nothing and did as he pleased whenever he wanted. Life was pretty sweet for him. That was until he won a risky bet and met his match!

This occurred one hot July afternoon. The antihero was lying on the bank near the river smoking the last of his grass stash that he had. Syd was bored out of his mind. He had exhausted every pub and brothel in the countryside. The deity needed something new to fall into his lap. He was about to doze off when he had a girl giggling about. That was when he saw her. A much younger Ella was walking with a group of schoolgirls on a red rich bridge. She was seventeen at the time and looked pretty ravishing in her dark blue and green uniform with black stockings and holiday green flats. Syd was enjoying what he was seeing. He just had to have her right that moment. “She looks like a challenge!” he thought to himself. “This should be fun!” Then, he rose up from the bank of the creek and made his way over to Ella and the girls.

The girls were still walking when they heard someone clear their throat loudly. They all stopped talking and looked up. Syd stood before all of them grinning like a fox.

“Hello ladies!” he called out in a deep seductive voice. The girls were all blushing. Ella just smirked at him. She stepped forward boldly.

“You’re the infamous Sydney, aren’t?” she asked aloud. Syd smirked at her. “Bold one, isn’t she?” he thought. “I like that!” The deity walked forward to her.

“My lady!” he called out to Ella. “I couldn’t help but to notice that you were the most beautiful out of all of your friends. May I take you out on a night country?” Silence was between all of them. Her friends were giggling like the little schoolgirls they were behind her. Ella just smirked at him at first. She was tittering now. Syd looked at her in slight confusion.

“Is that a yes?” he asked. Ella kept looking at him boldly.

“I know all about you, Sydney!” she called out loud. “I know all of your tricks! I know all about your wild nights! We all listen to the stories. We have been strongly warned against you!”

“Really?” the deity challenged. Ella nodded.

“But,” she went on. “I’ll tell you what. If you come up with an original way to woo me and may I’ll take you up on your offer!” Syd wasn’t expecting this! Ella may be too bold for him. But he was too proud to back down now. So he called out,

“Okay babe! Consider yourself mine!” The young deity just smirked at him.

“We’ll see!” she barked. “You get twenty-four hours and that’s it!”

“Fine!” Syd called out. And the bet was on!

He almost didn’t get her, but he winged it well! Syd pretty much acted like a gentleman and told her that he loved her and that he would stay faithful to her. Ella had no choice but to give in. Even though she really didn’t believe him at all, she decided to give him a try away. And the rest was history!

Syd turned to Ella whom was sleeping peacefully next to him. He lightly kissed her on the forehead.

“I still remember our bet, my dear,” the deity whispered to her. “I have won, missy! You are mine! You will still be mine!” Sure this Red Jasmine virus was bad for humankind, but maybe a little bit of it was good for the soul. But sadly, they would have to go back to work in the morning. “Sod it!” Syd thought. “I’ll enjoy the moment while I still can tonight!
